Quantum Jungle
Quantum Jungle is a museum interactive art installation visualising the fascinating world of quantum particles.
The Dance of Quanta

In the realm of the small things, where the particles are free from the rules of classical physics, the Dance of Quanta can express her beauty. Into the tiny blocks of matter, inside everything around us, there is an entire new world, invisible to our eyes. Don’t be scared and let your imagination break the boundaries of your ordinary perception of the World.
The work has been realised by the artist Robin Baumgarten, supported by a team of quantum physicists for the conceptualisation and the coding side: Prof. Sabrina Maniscalco, Prof. Marilù Chiofalo, Dr. Caterina Foti, Dr. Guillermo García Pérez, Dr. Matteo Rossi, Dr. Boris Sokolov, Dr. Jorge Yago Malo.

The artwork is currently exhibited at Palazzo Blu, Sala delle Grottesche, from November 24th, 2021 to April 17th, 2022 (free entrance).
The project is funded by Fondazione di Pisa to the Physics Department of the University of Pisa and, partly, by Algorithmiq Ltd.
The valuable collaboration with Palazzo Blu is acknowledged.
